Apparatus required a minimal setting that prioritised flexibility. The ceiling is accessible allowing for simple gallery reconfiguration. It was designed using aluminium honeycomb core to reduce weight and finished with bespoke applied plaster. This system was tested thoroughly to ensure it was efficient and safe. The elegant square motif that appears across the ceiling is seen around the walls with circular detailing. The balance of movement within the plaster on the main walls was delivered with artistic precision.

Hand-selected Italian Calacatta Classico marble was cut to replicate overhead panels and meticulously laid to mirror them. The ground floor is a dreamlike, chalky space where materiality displays gentle patina and bespoke net drapery diffuses sunlight. Nods to classical architecture present in non-structural columns and geometric motifs. A stone portal sits atop the dramatic staircase leading visitors to the lower level. The sweeping curve, once pristine white plaster, was remodelled off-site then clad in a series of v-grooved lacquered walnut burl panels.

A bespoke brass handrail wrapped in hand-stitched suede and bespoke brass stair nosings match grooved details. The palette changes as you transition from the lighter ground floor to the staircase and lower level. Shades of taupe and chocolate are used sumptuously, with a velvet ceiling, deep plush carpet and bronzed mirror panelling as the backdrop.
