Brick volumes are carefully orchestrated to form a network of indoor and outdoor pathways, which encourage users to traverse deeper while framing green views. When seen from the tower above, pavilion rooftops offer a ‘fifth elevation’ as elevated platforms for trees and greens. As a nod to the area's architectural heritage, Chinese blue bricks were used to clad pavilion exteriors. The design team worked extensively with craftsmen to formulate unique curved walls and perforated brick patterns through the use of modern assembling techniques.

At the grand entrance, soaring timber gates are flanked by brick walls with a rippling effect. In the lobby, a striking “shadow wall” spans the space with gradient hues of dawn. The feature is composed from hundreds of powder-coated stainless steel forms which mimic traditional roof tiles - some of them cleverly double as residential mailboxes. Yíshè's interior schemes once again recall Chinese heritage with architectural finesse. Inside the pavilions, a stepped ceiling takes the form of rice terraces, and reflect the varying depths of planters above its roof.

Pivoting windows connect indoor and outdoor spaces, while maximizing air flow. A curated décor elevates the interior spaces with contemporary furniture pieces, hand-painted porcelain sculptures and ceramic table slats. Each functional zone features bespoke signage crafted from 3D-printed metal sheets with custom Chinese typography that echo the ceiling design.
