The overall design concept of 'The Icon' was crafted by Corgan in collaboration with CannonDesign and Nwankpa Design. Drawing inspiration from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, the terminal's design pays homage to the film industry's iconic legacy. The fluid roof form, supported by minimal V-columns resembling red-carpet spotlights, exudes elegance and grandeur. The interior spaces echo this theme, with bronze and champagne-colored accents nodding to sophistication, while native coast oak pays homage to the local environment.

Below-grade parking allows for better visibility/wayfinding as well as a landscaped plaza that incorporates rideshare amenities and allows for an expanded view corridor out to the surrounding Verdugo Hills.
